Research Group on Metamorphic Processes
Our Strategy
The group conducts fundamental research in petrology, developing algorithms, models and analytical techniques based on physical and chemical laws, sometimes enhanced by artificial intelligence. We also distribute open source data reduction tools such as XMapTools.
Field investigation
We collect and analyse metamorphic rocks from all over the world in order to understand how our planet has evolved over time.
